Machine Fails to Power On
This article aims to address the issue of the tube not firing and is suitable for the following models:
✅ CO₂ Pronto Series
Depending on the status of your machine, it may take approximately 10 to 20 minutes to complete the process.
Steps to Take
Verify in sequence:
1. Wall socket energized? ➡️ Test with a voltage tester or lamp.
2. Power cord fully seated?➡️ Check both ends for a secure connection.
3. Emergency stop released? ➡️ Rotate clockwise until the emergency stop is released ⬆️.
4. Main power switch turned on? ➡️ After switching on, you should hear the contactor inside the machine chassis engage (as shown in the image).
4.1 Contactor engages normally, but the machine's internal lights are off ➡️ Measure the input voltage of the switching power supply (see the bottom-left figure). The normal voltage should be 220–240 V AC.
If the voltage is normal, replace the switching power supply.
If the voltage is abnormal, check whether the filter (see the bottom-right figure) has output.
If the filter has no output, replace the filter.
If the filter output is normal, check the wiring between the filter and the switching power supply.
4.2 The contactor fails to engage ➡️ Measure the contactor's input voltage.
If the voltage is normal, the contactor needs to be replaced.
If the voltage is 0, check whether the air switch inside the machine is turned on.
If it is already on, use a test pen to sequentially check the circuit for disconnections between the rear socket, main power switch, emergency stop switch, and air switch.
