Do I need to be present for delivery?
Under normal circumstances, the carrier will contact you prior to delivery to arrange a delivery date and time, and will require a signature to confirm receipt of the goods. When the carrier calls you to arrange a delivery date, you should schedule an appointment within 4-8 hours of the call and ensure that someone is available to inspect, sign for, and collect the goods. If no one is available, the driver may leave the goods at the curb or attempt to deliver them again on another day, which may incur additional charges.
