When the machine is in normal standby mode, the tri-color light should be yellow. After opening the cover, the tri-color light should turn red.

• If the tri-color light turns red but the machine does not report an error when the cover is opened.

1. Open RDWorks.
2. Access “Vendor param”, click “Other’, and check that “Enable protect” is ticked. (as shown)

If the box has been ticked, unplug the wire from the Dr-proc port (or the wire from the interlock port) of the signal input terminal on the mainboard, and test again.

1. If the laser is still being fired and no error code is being displayed, Replace the mainboard with a new, identical one.
2. If the laser is no longer being fired and an error code is being displayed, replace the safety relay.

• If the tri-color light keeps yellow when the cover is opened.

Measure the continuity between S11 and S12 at the relay interface, as well as between S21 and S22. If the switch is continuous, replace the cover safety switch. If not, replace the safety relay.
